PORTFOLIO:
Nude Male Photography Workshop
Join us for an immersive and inspiring workshop focused on capturing the male form through artistic nude photography. Designed for photographers of all skill levels, this session provides a safe, respectful, and creatively charged environment to explore composition, lighting, posing, and storytelling through the lens.
Participants will work with experienced male art models and receive guidance on directing poses, working with studio lighting and creating powerful, tasteful images that honour the beauty, strength, and vulnerability of the nude male figure.
Whether you're building your portfolio or deepening your artistic practice, this workshop offers hands-on experience, professional insight, and a supportive space for artistic exploration.
Note: This is a fine art photography workshop. All participants are expected to maintain a professional and respectful demeanour at all times.
WORKSHOP LOCATION:
This workshop will be held at the School of Photography. All the equipments and props will be there, but you are welcome to bring some of your own.
The school is at 2009 Lawrence Ave West Unit # 10, Toronto, ON. It is near Lawrence and Weston road.
PARKING:
There is lots of FREE parking in front
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
- Metering and shooting in Manual
- Posing and directing the model
- Hard Light vs Soft Light
- Understanding the use of soft boxes and light modifiers
THE GEAR YOU NEED:
DSLR or Mirrorless Camera (any Brand)
Hotshoe adapter will be provided for all brands (even Sony)
50 MM lens or
70-200 mm range
Memory Cards
Wireless:
Our workshop will be using wireless transmitters and we have units for all brands and makes of DSLRs.

Whether you're a seasoned photographer looking to freshen up your portfolio, just starting out your career in photography, a hobbyist who wants to learn some new skills, all our workshops are comfortably structured to suit all levels.
MODEL RELEASE:
A non-commercial release will be included at the workshop. This is an Educational Workshop and Therefore the images taken at the workshop can be used for your own personal online portfolio or print portfolio. They may not be used for any commercial purpose or sold.
